The major goal of our art program is to provide opportunities for individual, creative expression. All of our students work with a wide variety of materials over the course of the year and receive skill lessons in the use of these materials. New lessons and more refined techniques are added each year. Art concepts are taught in a systematic method that gives students a developed skill in visual perception that will enhance their potential to provide creative and innovative thinking in all fields of study.
Students at all levels are introduced to art appreciation through discussion of art as the expression of one's ideals with emphasis on the Romantic School of Art which depicts life as it could be and should be. We try in our study of art to look for and create the beautiful, the good, and the true.
