Extending the Curriculum to the Real World. At Carden Academy, we do not see field trips as activities that are distinct from classroom learning but rather an extension of it. Our excursions are carefully chosen, and student participation is considered important to their learning process. From Junior Primary through Eighth Grade, students experience a wide variety of off-campus excursions, from museums to nature hikes, dances and overnight trips, to ocean cruises and plays.
