Carden Academy’s school day begins at 7:45am and ends at 2:45pm. We offer morning and afternoon enrichment programs, a homework room, and an Extended Day program for students.
Morning Enrichment. Children are encouraged to arrive as early as 7:00am to read, draw, complete puzzles, and greet friends. This time provides children with a calm, orderly start and helps them transition smoothly to the school day. We offer this service free of charge.
Homework Room. The homework room is available to students in Fifth Grade through Eighth Grade so that homework may be completed in a quiet setting. We offer this service as part of our Extended Day Program.
Afternoon Enrichment. A variety of enrichment activities are offered after school throughout the school year. Information about programs, their associated costs, and registration forms are available to parents via the Parent Portal. Typical after-school enrichment programs include

Extended Day. We provide a wholesome, well-supervised extended day program from 2:45pm to 6:00pm on all regular school days. Children participate in a variety of activities, including free play, crafts, and traditional black top games such as hopscotch, dodge ball, tetherball, basketball, Capture the Flag, and more. This is a fee-based program.
