Admissions

Why Uniforms? Uniforms help students develop a sense of commonality and community with others in the student body. Differences based on social class and economic level dissipate as students visualize a solidarity that distinguishes them as students of Carden Academy.

Equally important is the idea that certain situations are afforded greater respect than others. Carden Academy students know that school is important. A more formal uniform is worn for field trips, parent presentations and school representation in Sacramento, CA and Washington, D.C., just as a more casual uniform is worn for local, hands-on field trips.
